Honoring the continued achievement, lead stars Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young, together with Kim Sun Young, Park Ji Hu, and Kim Do Yoon, as well as director Uhm Tae Hwa, posed together, marking a new achievement.

'Concrete Utopia' Invited to International Festivals

The movie depicts the story of survivors after a massive earthquake hit Seoul. Thankfully, the only infrastructure left standing was the Hwang Goong Apartment.

To protect the survivors from the outsoders, Young Tak, played by Lee Byung Hun, steps in as the leader. Joining him as his right hand is Min Sung, a former salaryman, played by Park Seo Joon.

Interestingly, the South Korean heartthrob plays as Park Bo Young's husband, as she takes on the role of Myung Hwa, a former nurse who helps the survivors with her knowledge and warm personality.

As mentioned, "Concrete Utopia," which was helmed by Uhm Tae Hwa of "Vanishing Time," is based on the second part of the webtoon "Happy Boy."

Apart from hitting the 3 million mark, the South Korean movie has been invited to three international festivals.

"Concrete Utopia" will be screened at the 56th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival from October 5 to October 15.

In the same month, viewers will get to see this at the Hawaii International Film Festival.

Adding to the list of international events is the Toronto International Film Festival, which will be happening in September. "Concrete Utopia" will represent South Korea in other countries, featuring 60 films for the first wave of selections.

On the other hand, global viewers will also witness the masterpiece headlined by top stars Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young as the thriller drama movie has been pre-sold to 152 countries. This includes France, Italy, Poland, and selected Asian countries.

Congratulations to the "Concrete Utopia" team!
