From the creators of the hit K-drama "The Penthouse," "The Escape of the Seven" is the latest Makjang series that depicts the revenge, drama, and mystery of people involved in the disappearance of a high school student.
After airing for two weeks, the SBS series hit another achievement as "The Escape of the Seven" garnered an all-time high for viewership.
In a report, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 7.7 percent, marking a new personal best since its premiere.

Viewers will get to see the latest episode via SBS, Viki, Wavve, Prime Video, and Kocowa.
As for the upcoming episode, "The Escape of the Seven" episode 5 is scheduled to air on September 29.
'The Escape of the Seven' Episode 4 Recap
One of the highlights in "The Escape of the Seven" episode 4 is Bang Da Mi's grandfather, Bang Chil Sung, who will do everything to avenge his granddaughter.
After finding out the truth behind Bang Da Mi, Chairman Bang felt guilty about his attitude towards the child. As a result, he promised to do whatever it takes to get the people involved punished, starting off with his daughter-in-law, Guem Ra Hee.
He pulled out his investment from her company after knowing that she wanted her own daughter dead.
The same went for his second wife, Dr. Cha, who faked her pregnancy and accused Bang Da Mi of having an unwanted pregnancy. Due to this, he asked her to get out of their marital home and promised no inheritance.
Bang Chil Sung's decision led Dr. Cha and Geum Ra He to kill the old man. Unfortunately, they were stunned to hear that he had no wealth left and had transferred it to someone else.
As for Bang Da Mi's adoptive parents, her father fell into the trap of Yang Jin Mo, who is also after Chairman Bang. He used his connection with the police to frame him for sneaking outside the prison and framing police officer Nam Chul Woo.
Meanwhile, Bang Da Mi's adoptive mother became a victim of Yang Jin Mo after the police spiked her drink with sleeping pills and burned her house down. Unfortunately, Min Do Hyuk's parents were living in the apartment above Park Nan Young.
