After her back-to-back success with television dramas "Moonshine" and "May I Help You," idol-actress Hyeri returns with a new high scale acting project this 2023.

Hyeri To Make Silver Screen Return With 'Victory'

Earlier this 2023, it was announced that Girl's Day Hyeri is finally coming back to the big screen much to her fans' delight.

Alongside rising stars Jo Ah Ram and Choi Ji Su, she is set to headline the period youth film "Victory" which tells the stories of high school girls who form a cheerleading dream team.

Set in 1999, Hyeri gives life to high school student Pil Sun who has an admirable passion for dancing. With her perseverance, she leads her own team to achieve their dreams in life.

Unlike her previous dramas where she portrayed vivacious and likable characters, Pil Sun is said to showcase Hyeri's emotive and mature acting.

Attention is given to the idol-actress who will return to the big screen to show off her unique charm that the audiences haven't seen before.

In addition, "Victory" will also deliver engrossing narratives about womanhood, female friendships and more.

Led by "Single in Seoul" director Park Bum Soo, expectations for the show are through the roof. Filming began earlier this March with the intention to release the work in early 2024.

Girl's Day Hyeri Shares Future Career Plans

In her personal YouTube channel, Hyeri released a video where she talked about her future plans as an actress.

She confessed that turning 30 made her more conscious of the projects she takes on. Hyeri said, "I reflected on so many things now that I'm older. I realized that there are a lot of things that I'm scared of."

To overcome her irrational fear, Hyeri took on new hobbies that help her better herself such as reading books, taking herself out on dates and even eating greener and healthier.

According to her, her goal this 2023 and 2024 is to be stronger physically, mentally and emotionally. With this, she plans to face new challenges without fear and inhibitions.

This also applies to her career which continues to flourish with her back-to-back acting projects. Hyeri's new film "Victory" is set to showcase her improved self and acting, which fans shouldn't miss.
