‘Arthdal Chronicles 2’ Episode 8: Shin Se Kyung & Lee Joon Gi Take Down Jang Dong Gun

Tagon's Punishment For Treason
Episode 8 begins with Tanya (Shin Se Kyung) contemplating whether to be a part of the new world or not. Saya (Lee Joon Gi) claims that killing Tagon (Jang Dong Gun) is the only way to appease Aramun and achieve peace.
Elsewhere, Eunseom (Lee Joon Gi) tries to strike a deal with the Ago Tribe. He loses his patience and leaves with a prophetic message. In Arthdal, Saya sees the punishment to anyone who speaks ill of the King, which doesn't sit right with him.

Since Tagon kills off the men who question him, Saya needs a new army to join his side. Tagon's people also turn to Tanya's side.

As the people run in a ruse, Tae Alha has her archers kill the unaware guards. With everything taking place at once, Tagon confronts a servant girl of her motives and what she plans to do.

They also notice that two of Tanya's candles aren't burning, meaning that two people are still alive. As it turns out, Tagon feigned the death of his two commanders.
Will Tagon Finally Die?
Saya walks right into Tagon's ploy, ousting the usurpers. At the end of the episode, Nunbyeol (Lee Si Woo) throws her trump card and slices her hand.
As the blue blood smears over her mouth, she launches herself at Tagon to finally kill off the King.
