Son Seok Koo’s Drama ‘Nine Puzzle’ to Feature Star-Studded Cameo – Who Are They?

The upcoming K-drama "Nine Puzzle," starring Son Seok Koo and Kim Da Mi, teases fans with a star-studded lineup of cameo roles.

'Nine Puzzle' Features Star-Studded Cameo Lineup

Following the confirmation of its cast, drama officials revealed the list of stars appearing for a limited scene.

In an exclusive report by Osen, top stars Hwang Jung Min and Lee Sung Min have agreed to join the series.

In addition to this, Lee Hee Joon and Yewon are also reportedly to make cameo appearances.

Award-winning actor Hwang Jung Min and "Nine Puzzle" director worked together in "Narco-Saints" while Lee Hee Joon joined him in the 2012 film "Nameless Gangster: Rules of Time."

'Nine Puzzle' Cast and What to Expect

Helmed by Yoon Jong Bin of "The Spy Gone North" and Netflix's "Narco-Saints," along with screenwriter Lee Eun Mi, who was behind the hit series "Navillera," the upcoming K-drama "Nine Puzzle" is a crime series that depicts the story of a witness and a suspect in a murder case.

Ten years later, the witness becomes a profiler to find the answer to an unsolved murder case.

Kim Da Mi teams up with Son Seok Koo to play the role of Yoon Ina. She is the witness to a murder case and later becomes a profiler.

In the series, she is a six-year-old senior in the Criminal Analysis Team working under the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Scientific Investigation Division.

In addition to this, Ina also works her case through a novel method by investigating the murder by playing out a scenario "as if she had killed that person."

Meanwhile, Son Seok Koo takes on the role of Hanssem, a police officer who thinks Yoon Ina plays a big role as the suspect.

Joining the duo as supporting cast members are Hyun Bong Sik from "Doctor Slump" and "The Bequeathed," as well as "Now, We Are Breaking Up" actor Kim Do Geon.

Interestingly, "Nine Puzzle" will be director Yoon Jong Bin's second K-drama work, while this will be Son Seok Koo's second upcoming K-drama in 2024.

He is also set to headline the webtoon-based thriller-comedy series "A Killer Paradox" with Choi Woo Shik and Lee Hee Joon.

As for Kim Da Mi, she is also booked and busy with back-to-back films this year as the actress joins the cast of the action movie "The Great Flood" with Park Hae Soo.

Meanwhile, the "Nine Puzzle" release date is yet to be confirmed, but it is safe to say that Son Seok Koo and Kim Da Mi's new drama will air sometime this year.
