‘Queen of Tears’ Episode 8: Kim Soo Hyun Teams Up With Kim Jung Nan to Expose Their Family’s Enemies

'Queen of Tears' Episode 8: Hong Hae In, Baek Hyun Woo Legally Part Ways

"Queen of Tears" Episode 8 began with a flashback that showed the day Baek Hyun Woo proposed to Hong Hae In. She cherished that precious memory.

Back to the present, she thanked her other half for staying by her side and showed him affection.

Hyun Woo struggled to control his tears realizing that his wife started to lose her memories and forgot their divorce. He reminded her about their Germany trip and the things that followed it. She then recollected her memories and decided to call it quits.

Hong Hae In consulted her attorney, Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong Ki) to process the divorce. Hyun Woo got his friend as his legal consultant. After discussions, they officially parted ways.

After the couple got divorced, the Hong family was waiting for Baek Hyun Woo to resign from his position as the legal adviser of Queens Group.

However, he continued working for the firm to help his wife.

Baek Hyun Woo wanted to be by Hae In's side when she needed a trusted person to help her. He was also determined to continue his secret investigation against Yoon Eun Sung (Park Sung Hoon) to help his former in-laws.

In the middle of his investigation, Hyun Woo gathered information about Eun Sung and his biological mother. He tried to stop Hae In's grandfather from signing the deal with Eun Sung, but he refused to listen.

He also kicked him out of the company for causing him confusion.

This misunderstanding caused a big loss for the Hong family.

Baek Hyun Woo, Hong Beom Ja Investigate Moh Sul Hee & Yoon Eun Sung

After Hyun Woo got kicked out of the firm, Hong Beom Ja (Kim Jung Nan) met with him. The two joined forces and helped him in his investigation. She shared all the details she gathered about her father's mistress Moh Sul Hee (Lee Mi Sook).

The two carried out a thorough investigation and collected evidence against their enemies. With the help of the secret investigation company, Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Beom Ja ran DNA to confirm Eun Sung's connection to Sul Hee.

After they received the test results, they immediately contacted the grandfather and asked him to stay alert.

Unfortunately, it was too late as Sul Hee played a trick against them. She poisoned Hong Man Dae (Kim Kap Soo), who fell into a coma. Since Sul Hee had the power of attorney, she started to have the upper hand in the family.

She kicked the Hong siblings out of the mansion and the company.

Yoon Eun Sung then became the new head of Queens Group.

Meanwhile, the Hongs went to Baek Hyun Woo's village to stay there until they get back their assets.
