Actress Kim Go-eun is drawing attention for candidly sharing her reason for joining Netflix's "The Price of Confession," a project she first encountered five years ago.

Her remarks, made at a news conference in Seoul, also spoke to her highly publicized short haircut makeover. The remarks originally were reported by Naver via MK Sports.
Kim began by explaining how long the project had been with her. She said, "I read the script four or five years ago when we were initially planning the role. Rather than discussing it in detail, I felt like, 'Want to read it?' But when I read the script again this time, I felt a different weight from before."
She continued, "When I heard that Jeon Do-yeon was doing it, regardless of how the script was, I thought, 'She can definitely do it.'"
Kim Go-eun showed up to the event in an avant-garde style, pairing a bobbed haircut with a navy double-breasted jacket and asymmetrical layered pants. If the report by Naver is anything to go by, then the on-set staff quipped, "As expected of Kim Go-eun," impressed at how the styling strengthened her character's presence.
She laughed, remembering that "uring our first meeting, I showed the director a picture and asked, 'I want to cut my hair this short. Is that okay?' He was really flustered."
She added, "After seeing me standing next to Jeon Do-yeon, he said, 'You made a good choice with the short haircut,' which reassured me."
These two actresses, who reunite after ten years, are supposed to showcase something that insiders described as never-before-seen chemistry. Insiders shared that there's strong anticipation for the intense on-screen dynamic they will share.
