Actor Ju Jin Mo talked about the hardships of filming in the cold.

On January 20th, there was a press conference held at Keonggido Goyangshi, Ilsan MBC dream center about MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Empress Ki" (script Jang Young Chul, Jung Kyung Soon, director Han Hee, Lee Sung Joon).  In this press conference, Ju Jin Mo said, "The people who are playing the Won Dynasty characters are indoors and not feeling the cold but the Koreo dynasty characters are primarily outdoors and they see mist coming out" as eh spoke of the hardship.

Ju Jin Mo plays the role of Koreo King Wang Yu who is involved in a love triangle with Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won) and the emperor of the Won Dynasty Ta Whan (played by Ji Chang Wook).  He said, "There are hundreds of hot packs in the trunk in addition to a large scale heater.  It wards off the cold and I'm fighting with the cold."

As to Wang Yu's character, he said, "I thought it was a tragic character but when I look at it again, he's a perfect man like terminator" and tooted himself.

Ju Jin Mo said, "It was hard to act because I was afraid that it wouldn't look real to the viewers.  In the remaining parts, I want to show the humane side in a more realistic way."

"Empress Ki" is circulating ratings around 20% as it is in first place and on the 22nd episode aired on January 14th, Ki Seung Nyang gave birth alone as he raised tension.

It airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10PM.
