While Kanye West is still doing his "Yeezus" album tour, he is already making plans to create a film adaptation of the project and he is call on the great Bret Easton Ellis to help him do it.
Due to both figures being quite risky in their realm of expertise, this could be quite the collaboration.
In a recent interview, the writer of American Psycho, admitted to being a bit hesitant to work with Yeezy.
"It was early summer last year and I was driving in my car. He'd given me an advance copy and I thought, regardless of whether I'm right for this project, I want to work with whoever made this," Ellis said, according to Contact Music . "So f-k it, I said yes. And that's how it happened. That was seven or eight months ago. We'll see what happens."
Outside of the business venture, Ellis has taken a liking to West.
"I really like him as a person," he said. "I know he comes off in this performance art way in the press, but if you're just alone with him in a room talking for three hours, it's kind of mind-blowing."
The first and last time the two worked together was for a parody video of the 2000 film "American Psycho."
