Breaking Bad

Need for Speed Aaron Paul recently had a chat with Bold Ride regarding his upcoming movie and shares his passion for cars. The video game-inspired film will be shown in theaters on March 14; and people have been speculating it to be as big as "The Fast and Furious". The pressure of making a legitimate racecar film was felt by the producers and Need for Speed director Scott Waugh.  The 34-year old actor shares, "Scott said if you wanted to do this movie we would love to have you, but I'm going to need you to learn how to drive in a very proper way." Hearing that convinced Paul to accept the role and he added, "That's another reason I jumped into this project. It was the idea was learning how to drive in that way.

So what else attracted the Emmy Award-winner into doing this film? Need for Speed Aaron Paul said, "I read the script and it was just such a fun, crazy, wild ride, it had a really great story." He added, "It was such so might lighter than Breaking Bad." In the movie, Paul stars as Tobey Marshall, a mechanic and a street car racer who was set up by NASCAR driver Dino Brewster. After two years of imprisonment, Marshall goes on a high-octane mission to take down Brewster in the high stakes.

Starring in a car racing movie isn't all about acting, but you need to have knowledge about cars as well. Need for Speed Aaron Paul impressed the press people when he talked about cars. He said, "I was a huge car guy my whole life. I appreciate them more after really learning the mechanics of it all. I have an old 65 Shelby Cobra - not original, but registered as one, and, man...it's beautiful." When asked what his favorite car is in the film he said, "One of my favorite cars that happens to be in this movie is one that Scott and I were discussing, along with our stunt driver Tanner Foust, were fighting over was the Grand Turino." Paul invited his fans to watch Need for Speed and exclaimed, "I hope people come to this film and go 'My God, I haven't seen a true car movie in a very long time'".
