The Very Pregnant Christina Aguilera Wows New Orleans Crowd With Her Baby Bump; 'Say Something’ Singer Renders Awesome Performance At The 2014 Jazz And Heritage Festival
Christina Aguilera flaunts her baby bump as she performs at The New Orleans Jazz Fest.
Gracing the 2014 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival held at the Fairgrounds Race Course on Friday (May 2) in New Orleans, La. Christina Aguilera not only came with her powerful singing voice but also her baby, or to be specific, her baby bump.
The powerhouse singer's tweet "Mama's comin' to play...New Orleans jazz fest, here we come! #jazzfest2014," raised a few eyebrows, but the 33-year-old pregnant singer came in and gave a performance to be remembered.
The Voice judge, who is soon to be replaced by Gwen Stefani, performed a lot of her hit songs, which includes Say Something, her duet with A Great Big World, and Lady Marmalade.
According to E!, Christina Aguilera was full of energy as she danced around the stage and not let her pregnant belly hinder her from belting out song after song. The audience started to cheer once she got on stage and continued after she finished.
After keeping mum on her pregnancy, before announcing it on Twitter via a photo of her and fiancé Matthew Rutler holding her belly, seeing her perform brings cheers from fans and moms alike.
"I've seen her at the Super Bowl and in her movies, like ‘Burlesque,' and she's just an amazing performer." Jazz Festival attendee Morgan Griffith told the Associated Press, "She doesn't just sing. It's everything on cue: the dancers, the setup ... just everything."
Christina obviously is making no attempt whatsoever to hide her pregnancy. Although she seems to have no problems performing while pregnant, the singer is taking a maternity leave from The Voice.
