Katy Perry And John Mayer Break Up News: Katy To Write A Song About Her Break Up With John; Is She Back With Her Ex?

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Katy Perry spilled juicy news about her break up with ex John Mayer.

Not that she's copying one of Mayer's ex's move, but Katy Perry admitted that she might write a song about her break-up with Mayer.  It will mostly detail her rocky relationship with the famous musician.

"There's no bad blood. But I'm sure there will be inspired songs," shared Perry

So what does her ex and the subject of her future hit think of this? 

"I have super strength for gang-ups," Mayer said in an interview with TMZ.

"I'm fine. That's what you're supposed to do, man. You're supposed to write songs. You're just not supposed to tell everybody you're doing it."

However, Mayer was obviously being sarcastic when asked if he wants songs written by his exes to succeed: "I actually want everybody's song to go No. 1. I purposely stopped writing hits to give other people a chance to have No. 1 songs. I just stand to the side."

Now that fans can expect to hear a song about Katy Perry and John Mayer's break-up, will there ever be a chance of the two being an item again?

New reports have made rounds on the internet that Perry has reconciled with her ex.  Sadly, not with Mayer, but with Florence + The Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd. The two were seen cozying up to each other at a London party.

However, rumor site Gossip Cop revealed that the two are just friends.  But it certainly sounds possible for the two to reconcile in the future.

Perry started dating Ackroyd in 2012, but split after just a month of dating.  Sources say that the reason for the break-up was Perry was then still struggling to get past her divorce from ex-husband Russell Brand.
