It has been announced that the untitled Whitney Houston movie's lead actress will be model and reality star Yaya DaCosta, who started her career in American entertainment as a contender in America's Next Top Model Cycle 3 back in 2004. She is also Whitney Houston movie's first actress who was publicly announced to be included in the casting of the upcoming biopic of the late Grammy Award-winning singer, model and actress.

Whitney Houston's movie actress Yaya DaCosta had a successful career as a model and actress since finishing the Cycle 3 of America's Next Top Model, placing second to the season winner Eva Pigford.
