"Angel Eyes" Koo Hye Sun lost her vision with the mental trauma that she had to undergo.
On the 17th episode of SBS weekend drama "Angel Eyes" broadcast on June 7th, Yoon Soo Wan (played by Koo Hye Sun) felt guilty about her father Yoon Jae Beom (played by Jung Jin Young)'s death. She ended up losing her vision because of her guilt.
On this day, Yoon Soo Wan was collapsed in front of Yoon Jae Beom's grave. Yoon Soo Wan awoke from the hospital and asked, "Why is it so dark here?"
After this, Yoon Soo Wan received a bunch of tests and the doctor said to Park Dong Joo the following. He said, "Right now, we think he's in a transition state and this is a type of disability. With great guilt, he is refusing to acknowledge himself so this is a stage of self-denial" he explained.
At this, the doctor said, "You must know well because you too are a doctor but there's no way of knowing how to fix and what time it will take for treatment. Diseases are a mental thing so emotional treatment is key" he answered.
