‘Star Wars 7’Spinoff Casting Denied By ‘Twilight’ Star Robert Pattinson; Harrison Ford Injury Prompts Doctors To Order Chest X-Ray As Precaution

The "Star Wars 7" spinoff casting was denied by "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson, while Harrison Ford injury prompted doctors to order chest x-rays as a precaution.

"No, I don't know why that is coming out," "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson toldHollywoodLife  of the "Star Wars 7" spinoff rumors during the red carpet event of "The Rover."

"It's crazy! It's like all those other BS rumors... I mean I wish! I didn't even know there was a Han Solo spin off. I mean I'll watch it!"

Tabloid reports in recent days have reported that "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson was rumored to be considered for a young Han Solo in the "Star Wars 7" spinoff, or even a young "Indiana Jones."

Meanwhile, following the Harrison Ford injury, the 71-year-old actor underwent chest x-rays to determine if he sustained other injuries, said The Telegraph. The publication reported that the Han Solo star was "crushed" by a hydraulic door of the Millennium Falcon.

After the Harrison Ford injury, he was airlifted from the secret set to John Radcliff hospital although The Telegraph reported that the method was a mere precaution and didn't really suggest that the damage was severe.

A statement from Disney after the Harrison Ford injury reads: "Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of 'Star Wars: Episode VII.' He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care."

It added, "Shooting will continue while he recuperates."

Producers of "Star Wars 7" have been very secretive about the plot although THR said that it's set 30 years after the "Return of the Jedi."

Filming for "Star Wars 7" has already started filming in Abu Dhabi with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy calling it "an incredible place to commence this journey." The location prompted rumors that "Star Wars Episode 7" will try to revisit Tattooine again.

"Sources tell THR that the J.J. Abrams-led production is seeking to re-create the desert planet Tatooine, which was the home of Anakin and Luke Skywalker as well as the headquarters of Jabba the Hutt," The Hollywood Reporter added.
