NBC's new show, Constantine TV series will have new characters accompanying John Constantine in his mission.

Unleash the Fanboy reports, that five DC characters are joining the cast of Constantine include the very attractive magician Zatanna, the demon Etrigan, the wondering spirit Boston Brand a.k.a. Deadman, the powerful mystic Madame Xanadu, and the mysterious creature called Swamp Thing.

Constantine TV series will focus on John Constantine's (Matt Ryan) work on the paranormal and supernatural forces, and we will likely see these characters in the show due there mystical and supernatural backgrounds.

In the New 52 DC Universe, these six individuals banded together to form the Justice League Dark, to fend off any magical and supernatural threats that the regular Justice League could not handle.

Meanwhile, ComicBook.com reports that John Constantine might be the new Doctor Fate in the show. Doctor Fate's helmet was an easter egg in the show's new trailer and it was hinted that the first Doctor Fate Kent Nelson will make an appearance in Constantine. The new issue of the Constantine comics titled The New 52 Future End: Constantine sees John wearing the helmet as he becomes the new Doctor Fate.

Constantine TV series will air on October 24, 2014 and it stars Matt Ryan, Lucy Griffiths, Harold Perrineau, and Charles Halford.
