"Dr. Stranger' Lee Jong Suk was selected to lead the president's surgery.

On the 18th episode of SBS Monday/Tuesday drama "Dr. Stranger" broadcast on July 1st, the president Hong Chan Sung (played by Kim Yong Gun) picked Park Hoon (played by Lee Jong Suk) to be his main doctor despite the fact that he had lost the ultimate battle with Han Jae Joon.

On this day, Hong Chan Sung saw that Park Hoon was giving up on the competition while trying to save a patient.  This patient didn't necessarily need to have surgery performed and because of this, Park Hoon thought that he was doing a favor by saving the patient from a life of post-surgery trauma.  Looking at this side of Park Hoon, the president said, "That Park Hoon is pretty stupid, isn't he?"  There, Jang Suk Joo (played by Chun Ho Jin) also agreed saying that Park Hoon was stupid.

However, Hong Chan Sung followed by saying the he wasn't stupid but just unilaterally focused on the patient.  Even if Jang Suk Joo were to be a doctor, he would make the same choice.  Therefore, he asked to switch doctors to Park Hoon.

Meanwhile, "Dr. Stranger" is about a genius doctor Lee Jong Suk that was born in South Korea but raised in North Korea and his conflict against the most elite doctor of Korea, Park Hae Jin. The two of them face the greatest conspiracy in a medical drama and fusion drama. It is broadcast every Monday and Tuesday at 10PM.
