RHONJ Teresa Guidice Talks Sentencing; Melissa Gorga Reveals Season 6 Details

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" has been getting even more publicity due to Teresa Giudice's recent legal woes.

During her appearance on "The View" on Thursday, the RHONJ star attempted to avoid questions about her upcoming sentencing, according to Page Six.

"This past year has been like a roller coaster. It's been amazing education on the way our legal system works. But right now, what I'm focusing on is my family," stated the 42-year-old Teresa Giudice.

The reality television star explained that the sentencing was postponed from July to September due to the recent loss of her father-in-law.

In March, Joe and Teresa Giudice reportedly plead guilty to federal fraud charges - including bankruptcy fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud and failing to pay taxes.

Joe could face between 37 and 46 months behind bars while Teresa could face between 21 to 27 months in jail, according to People.

While the Giudice family awaits their sentencing, it seems that the drama has brought Teresa closer to her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, who she is known to have conflict with.

"Family goes through ups and downs all the time. It's a roller coaster . . . We go up. We go down. We're family. At the end of the day, we back each other up. We're family," explained Gorga on the daytime talk show.

The RHONJ cast member spoke about how her sister-in-law is handling her legal issues as well as details regarding season 6 of the show, which is set to return on July 13.

"She's doing good. She's going what any mother would do, which is just focus on her family, focus on what she needs to focus on, and then that's it. I don't like to comment too much on her legal issues because it's a personal thing, and it's confusing, and a lot of us don't know or understand exactly what's going on. But we're just here to support her, and if she needs us, we're here," stated Gorga, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Gorga also revealed that there would be some ups and downs in the course of the new season.

"There's some hair-pulling! There's arguments, there's a lot of laughs. I definitely think the new girls came ready to go. I think the viewers are going to love watching all of this unexpected stuff," explained Gorga.
