David Luiz Fan Letter From 9-Year-Old

Hi David Luiz,

My name is Analuz.

I saw all of the Brazil games in the World Cup and I liked it a lot watching you play.

I think that you don't need to be sad because you played well and did the best you could. You were a great captain.

Life is like this, sometimes people lose and sometimes people win but people only need to be happy.

David Luiz, you are my champion.

Analuz Penna Reale.

The 7-1 defeat of Brazil to Germany was their worst- no doubt. Some say that it is because of the absence of talisman Neymar Jr. But, they also had some bad luck with their captain, Thiago Silva's one match suspension.

Brazil's last chance to prove themselves will be their third place match against the frustrated Netherlands, who lost, on the other hand, to Argentina.

Moreover, the Selecao coach, Luiz Felipe Scolari, who decided to put all the blame on himself regarding the defeat, feels hopeful that Brazil can bounce back and at least exit the tournament as third placers, next to Argentina and the now rival, Germany.
