Ed Sheeran's 'Don't' music video is out!

The British singer released the new clip through his official Youtube channel last night Off his number one album, 'X,' the 'Don't' music video features a guy waking up in a tattered mattress, surrounded by rubbish, and dancing his way to increasingly nice-looking homes. He goes through different houses-from the most humble to a mansion and eventually ended up lounging in a pool.

He notably takes a piece of clothing from every house he enters, each one making him look more and more presentable. At one point, the dancer has a duet with a girl but eventually leaves her.

Just like some of his earlier videos, Ed Sheeran's 'Don't' music video focuses on a particular character. He only appeared through an interview on TV in one of houses. He also passed by the guy dancing on the street while riding in the backseat of a black SUV.

'Don't' is the second single off his new album which broke Coldplay's record this year as the fastest selling album in the UK.

The single garnered quite a bit of attention from fans when Sheeran opened up to Rolling Stone about the song's origin. The funky cut was reportedly about a real life ex-girlfriend who slept with one of his close friends-while they were all staying in the same hotel.

Several fans thought the mystery ex-lover to be Ellie Goulding who was linked to One Direction member Niall Horan after the two singer-songwriters broke up. Other rumors assumed the song was about Taylor Swift.

The 'Sing' hitmaker was quick to deny that though.

"It's 100 percent not about Taylor," he told Rolling Stone. "Taylor's one of these people that if you piss her off and she writes a song about you, it's not good news for you. I've never dated Taylor. I've dated a few singers, though."
