The latest Chris Daughtry concert news is in, as featured in app.com!

The band, which carries the American Idol alum's last name may sing about darkly-themed songs. However, its members are known for its wacky sense of humor.

The front man of the popular band was popularly known to have gone into a funny mode in "Fox and Friends."

When asked to play a patriotic song on the show, the singer quickly chirped jokingly saying:

"I'm off the clock,"

 "I'm going to watch y'all."

The AI alum later on apologized for his seemingly offending joke in a phone call from Baton Rouge, saying:

"In no way was I trying to be disrespectful,"

"I was caught by surprise, and I was just trying to be funny."

Daughtry concert new features the band playing in Holmden's PNC Bank Arts Center.

The band's got some pretty lighthearted songs in their latest album, "Baptized."

Chris took pride in his work of art:

"After making a couple of albums, you can't help but move in a different direction,"

"Hopefully you grow and I think we have with this album. I think you can see my sense of humor on this one. It was a great experience writing these songs. My wife and children served as the muse behind many of the songs."

Chris has always been thankful to the loyal fan base his band has had:

"I'm so thankful for that,"

"The industry has changed. People don't buy albums like they used to. Fans will download them legally or illegally. I'm very fortunate that so many people like my music that much."
