Maroon 5 News: Band Releases New Single From New Album ‘V’; ‘It Was Always You’, A Song About Levine’s New Wife, Behati Prinsloo?

Maroon 5 latest album news for all you fans out there, according to MTV.com.

Maroon 5 is set to release a single called, "It Was Always You", from their upcoming album, "V."

The band incorporated new beat to their music. Instead of their usual rock music, they had some electronic synths in their new album. They collaborated with Monsters and Strangerz in most of their songs.

Levine belts out the electro-pop tune. He sings about getting through becoming lovers from being friends. He talked about feeling unsatisfied, as he was not lovers with the girl with the hazel eyes.

Several people are speculating that the song was written about Levine's new wife, Behati Prinsloo. Levine and Prinsloo were married in a beach ceremony in Mexico last month.

Levine told MTV that the latest album news for Maroon 5 are nothing audiences have seen before:

"There's some stuff on our record that sounds a little like early Maroon 5, and then there's some stuff that sounds like the newer direction that we went in," 

"I think that's kind of the idea behind the album. It's our fifth record. [Five] is literally part of our name. We thought we'd get back to certain elements that we'd been missing out on for a while with our original sound, but also bridge the gap with the new stuff that we've been doing. I think it's an all-encompassing kind of record."
