Around 20 bridesmaids, family and friends attended Ashlee Simpson's "bohemian" pool party bridal shower. The party was hosted by big sister Jessica, in her home in Los Angeles. The younger Simpson is set to wed fiancé, Evan Ross, on Labor Day.

A source close to People said:

"Someone was on hand to help all the guests make flower wreaths,"

 "The bridesmaids picked a throwback photo to decorate the cake,"

Jessica Simpson Instagram had another photo from the party, with Jessica writing the caption:

"all the beauties celebrating Ashlee!!! I love you Ash :)" 

The photo pictured 20 of the Simpson's gal pals standing in front of the pool at Jessica's home.

Jessica herself has just married Eric Johnson the previous month.

Jessica took the time to post a picture taken with a friend in Instagram, showing off her new bod:

"#hardworkpaysoff."

Jessica wrote an additional caption for the photo, saying:

"Oh yea girl...We are proud to be in our bathing suits!!" 

Jessica has definitely gotten things worked out, when it comes to keeping fit. She made heads turn with her curves. She has gotten back on her healthy weight since she gave birth to son, Ace, a year ago.
