Josh Garcin: AI Alum Safe After Suspicions Of Suicide; Is Trouble Around The Corner For Gracin?

AI alum, Josh Gracin, was thought to have passed away. Not until police found Gracin alive, but not doing really well, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Gracin, a contestant on AI's season 2, left an alarming note on his Facebook page:

"Please remember me as someone who gave his all in music"

And,

 "pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me."

Not too long after word spread about Gracin's possible suicide, the police came to Gracin's home, and confirmed that the singer was safe.

Gracin's manager later tweeted:

"Josh is safe & with his family now. I promise to update soon."

Gracin has touched the hearts of millions of Americans in his gig in the 2003 season of the show, winning fourth place in the Fox singing competition series. His life story as a singing Marine has touched the hearts of many

He immediately signed with Lyric Street Records after his stint in AI. He had 11 hits in the Hot Country Songs chart. These hits included his number one hit, 2005's "Nothin' To Lose."

Gracin's self-titled debut album peaked at No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart. On the other hand, it reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200. The album sold out 705,000 copies in the U.S., as reported by Nielsen SoundScan.
