American Idol's Josh Gracin's Facebook suicide note scared his family, friends, and supporters early Thursday morning.

The singer's letter, posted on the social media site, was ominous enough to warrant a 911 call from concerned people. In the post (which has since been deleted), Gracin seemed to blame his wife with his apparent decision to end his life.

"I've loved her for 17 years ... I made mistakes ... I admitted them, told her the truth and she turned her back on me when I needed her ... the most ... I love you all," the 33-year-old singer wrote on the post.

He also addressed his fans and supporters towards the latter part of the note, writing, "You have given me the greatest gift. You allowed me to touch your hearts with what I loved to do the most ... Please remember me as someone who gave his all in his music ... Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye."

According to TMZ, local police in Spring Hill, Tennessee drove out for a welfare check on the singer and his family but was only met by his wife at home. They were later able to contact the father of four and met him on his way home. He was put on a 5150 psychiatric hold because of his the Facebook suicide note he posted earlier.

Later that day, Gracin's manager, Amy  Macintosh, assured fans of his safety through social media.

'Good evening everyone. This is Josh's manager, Amy,' Macintosh said via Gracin's Facebook and Twitter. "'First, thank you everyone for your prayers and concern. Josh is safe and with his family now."

She went on to ask for supporters to "please respect their privacy during this time and continue sending your well wishes. I promise to update you soon."

Gracin also spoke up about the whole ordeal, saying, "To all of you.. I apologize dearly for what I have put you through today... I am ok and I am getting help. I am so sorry to all of you."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the former Marine has voluntarily checked himself into an inpatient psychiatric facility following the suicide scare.

Gracin and his wife Ann Marie has been married since 2001 and has four kids together. He appeared on the second season of 'American Idol' and has also released new music last year.

American Idol's Josh Gracin's Facebook suicide note and the trauma that came with it pushed the country singer to check himself into an inpatient facility.

"With family by his side, Josh has since been discharged from the hospital and has voluntarily checked himself into an inpatient facility to seek the help he needs,"  Macintosh updated fans on August 15.
