Gwyneth Paltrow Ice Bucket Challenge: Star Participated in ALS Challenge; Nominated Unlikely Person To Take On The Challenge Next!

Gwyneth Paltrow takes on the Ice Bucket Challenge and got frigidly cold in a bikini!

The award-winning actress, as reported by People, wore a bikini, in preparation of her participation in the ALS challenge.

Surprisingly, the actress called on ex-husband, Coldplay's Chris Martin, to take the challenge after Gwyneth Paltrow's Ice Bucket Challenge. Paltrow and Martin were married for 10 years, before separating earlier this year, in March.

Next, Paltrow challenged actress Cameron Diaz, and designer, Stella McCartney to follow in on her footsteps.

The Independent reported that Gwyneth may have been eager to participate in the ALS challenge to prove that she did have a funny side, and she wasn't bothered by the "Jennifer Lawrence-Chris Martin rumors."

Paltrow was previously challenged to do the ALS challenge by her Martha Stewart, trainer, Tracy Anderson, and renowned chef, Jose Andres.

The Independent said the actress posted a message in her Instagram account, announcing her participation in the challenge:

"Hi, I'm going to alsa.org to donate money for ALS but in the meantime I'll do this and nominate Chris Martin, Cameron Diaz and Stella McCartney."

The ALS challenge aimed to raise funds for studies on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's disease.
