The Lego Movie Sequel In The Works With Same Voice Actors From The Original Film? Release Date Revealed? Animated Film Helped Boost Sales Of Lego Toys!

The Lego Movie sequel is confirmed in the works. Moreover, its release date has been announced. The Lego movie sequel release date is set for May 26, 2017!

The Lego Movie 2 or sequel has no official title yet, according to Screen Rant. Aside from this 3D animated movie, other movies that will hit theaters are "Despicable Me 3" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

Additionally, the plot, casting and other details of the movie are still in talks.

Moviepilot mentioned that aside from sequel, Lego movie will be having spin-off 'Ninjago', which is reported to be set for September 23, 2016. The spin-off movie is also a 3D action film. 

The source added "Warner Bros. have confirmed that there will be additional two movies".

Meanwhile, the animated movie reportedly helped boosting the company's sales (LEGO), according to Belfasttelegraph.co.uk.

The source added The Danish firm announced the revenues of the LEGO toys increased "by 11 per cent in the first six months of 2014 to 11.5 billion kroner (£1.22 billion), marginally higher than the figure reported by its Fisher-Price and Matchbox rival last month."

The first movie has been released this year.
