The singer was so impressed with the funny way the Kentucky frat boys singing Taylor's Shake It Off, that she personally invited the boys to see her on tour for free.

The fraternity's president, Daniel Lyvers, felt honoured to have received a compliment from the singer herself about the hilarious Kentucky frat boys singing Taylor Swift's Shake It Off, telling People:

"There's been a lot of excitement more than anything," the president of the fraternity,

"Within the chapter, we just kind of continue to do things the same, I think. Everybody else around us is just really excited."

Laughing, Lyvers said:

"I mean, it's kind of weird - we go to restaurants and stuff, and people want to take pictures. Taylor Swift actually retweeted me twice, and I went from 400 followers on Twitter to like 1,300 followers on Twitter. So, that's pretty wild."

The concept behind the college boys' viral video was a reminiscence of the "Call Me Maybe" imitated video, encouraging people to let go and have fun.

Lyvers relived the "Call Me Maybe" video days, and compared them with the glory they're delighting in for doing this popular video now, saying, as reported in People:

"My freshman year, actually, we did a video during the whole 'Call Me Maybe' fest, and it was just a lot of fun, really nothing happened with it. It was just a silly time,"

"So, we're hanging out in the hall one day and - Barton Lynch and Jared Brewington are kind of the masterminds behind it - and they're like, 'Well, let's do something like that again.' "
