Super Junior’s Donghae Becomes a Patissier

Donghae of the K-pop group Super Junior has been cast as the main male lead of 'Panda and Hedgehog'. This young singer will be playing Ko Seung Ji, a pastry chef prodigy, right beside Yoon Seung Ah, the female lead.

Although not much of the plot has been revealed, the gist of 'Panda and Hedgehog' involves a love story between the pastry chef Ko Seung Ji and the cake shop owner played by Yoon Seung Ah. Apparently Ko Seung Ji will be whipping up delicious cakes, the sweetness of which sharply contrasts Ko Seung Ji's up-tight and persnickety personality.

The directorial staff of the series is already wowed by Donghae's actual knowledge and genuine interest in baking and cake decorating. He has been diligently honing his baking skills to better fit into his role as a highly prized patissier.

Fans of Super Junior, and especially those of Donghae himself, are highly anticipating his small screen performance. 'Panda and Hedgehog' will air later this summer on Channel A.
