'A Gentleman's Dignity' Kim Ha Neul's Nude Scene Helps Propel Show To Record Viewer Ratings

SBS weekend drama 'A Gentleman's Dignity' has set a new record for the show's highest viewer rating in its seven-episode running.

According to the viewer rating research agency AGB Nielson Media Research, the episode of 'A Gentleman's Dignity' that aired on the 16th recorded a whopping 17.1% viewer rating. The new record reflects a 0.3% increase from last week's 16.8% rating.

The drama beat out its timeslot rival 'Dr. Jin' by 2.6%, claiming the top spot in its timeslot for viewer rating.

The most recent episode caused quite a sensation by featuring a nude scene in which Kim Ha Neul's naked body was mosaiced. Kim Do Jin (played by Jang Dong Gun) listens to a recording of Seo Yi Soo's voice on his recorder. Listening to her talking to herself in the bathroom, Do Jin begins to imagine what she looks like in the bathroom.

The nude scene, which shows Seo Yi Soo changing after her bath, is shown as a part of Kim Do Jin's fantasizing; nevertheless, the censored body surprised viewers.

Meanwhile, its weekend timeslot rival 'Dr. Jin' recorded a 14.5% viewer rating.
