The Grimmiere is finally here!

Several speculations and spoiler had been discussed in the past couple of months regarding Nick's fate in the 'Grimm' season 4 premiere. Last Friday's episode finally answered some questions that had plagued avid viewers since season nine ended in a not-so-hopeful note.

After being tricked by Adalind to lose his powers, Nick and Juliette arrive at their cop-swarmed home with Trubel and Hank. They come up with a plausible lie to explain the dead ex-FBI agent in the house. Although Trubel initially panics at the sight of FBI agents, she manages to tell them a believable version of what happened.

She is able to convince the officers, except for one, who turns out to be a Wesen. The FBI agent suspects Trubel isn't as normal as she looks, especially after finding the Grimm diary in her room. Will she be a recurring character this season? Will she become another Wesen who Nick will befriend or will she make things harder for him?

Captain Renard looks to be in critical condition and even dies at one point but we know he'll make it. As doctors try to revive him, a new female character (Louise Lombard) is seen looking through the room.

From previous reports, she will play "a mysterious woman connected to the royal families." From her worried expression in the 'Grimm' season 4 premiere, she seems to be connected with Renard. Is she the long-lost mother of the illegitimate prince?

Another new character was introduced as well, the vile Wesen that sucks out people's memories through his tentacles.

Nick and Hank ask Trubel for help in tracking Octo-man or Gedächtnis Esser down. Is she ready to work side by side with Nick or will she be thrown into grave danger again?

Nick has also been worrying in this episode. Although he tells Juliette that him losing his powers could be a good thing for their relationship, he doesn't sound very relieved. Juliette doesn't look convinced either.

Sergeant Wu, on the other hand, becomes more suspicious and confused about everything. From a recent interview with Reggie Lee, Wu will be "pissed" and he will be demanding answers soon.

What did you think of the 'Grimm' season 4 premiere? How long do you think Nick will stay powerless? Will Trubel stay out of trouble this time?
