Actor Hong Jung Hyun and Girls Day singer Yura are currently playing house on the reality show "We Got Married."

He's a model-turned actor who appeared in  "Dating Agency: Cyrano," "Fearless Mama," and "Her Lovely Heels," as well as music videos, including 2NE1's "Falling In Love."

She's the main rapper and dancer of "Girls Day" but she also played a role in the drama "To The Beautiful You." She was also seen in a music video, Wheesung's "Night and Day."

But as much as they have in common, they are known for having very different personalities. Before they were paired up on "We Got Married," he was known for his cool aloof personality. And she was known for being cheerful and lovable.

The show's production officials wondered beforehand whether Hong, a man who seemed indifferent to women," would be won by Yura's cuteness and charms.

It seems that after a few months of pretending to be married, he has succumbed to her charms.

In a recent interview with "My Daily," he said that Yura was really innocent and kind.

"She likes and reacts well to whatever I do," he said. "And I think that's what I like the most. But she's so innocent and kind that if there is something that I don't like, I can't tell her easily."

She also lifts his spirits.

"Yura really has a lot of energy," he said. "When I am with her I also become cheerful."

The show has not resulted in a lot of long-term couples although it has set the stage for some long-term friendships. Is Hong Jung Hyun planning on staying in touch?

Yes.

"Even if we leave the program, I will continue to keep in touch with Yura," he said. "Although it is a pretend marriage, our affection for each other grew through the months we shared together and of course our affection will only continue to grow as time goes by."

He has not thought of the show's final episode and is not sure how he will react. He is trying not to see it as a final parting but just a new stage in their relationship.

"If the show ends, it is not a divorce or parting for us because we will return to our places and work hard with the good memories we made," he said. "We will continue to cheer each other on. I also plan to meet up with her to share a meal from time to time."
