Hybrid IKEA Desk: Comfort Is Never Out Of Reach; New Generation Desk To Accommodate Both Sitting and Standing Positions!

A Hybrid IKEA desk is going to be around to keep consumers comfortable and relaxed in the midst of a hectic day.

Tech News World reported that a Hybrid IKEA desk that has a button customized to accommodate sitting and standing positions has been launched by IKEA last week.

This new Hybrid IKEA desk is one of the collections of IKEA Bekant collectibles.

Karen Haas, an IKEA sales executive announced, as reported in Tech News World:

"This desk promotes a healthy work environment by getting people on their feet."

 "With the Bekant electric sit/stand underframe, you can adjust the height of your desk with just a touch of a button. This allows you to change your work position as often as you like, keeping your body active."

The two-in-one function desk from IKEA has a 10-year warranty.

The Hybrid desk got only praises from various experts.

Cris Dobrosielski, an American Council on Exercise consultant, said in an interview with Tech News World:

"Standing desks are good in that they get people off of their butts and onto their feet, loading their bones in their muscles and giving some postural muscles a much needed break." 

"However, for every action there are multiple reactions."

"One should not go into a full-time standing position if one has spent the last 10 years sitting at a desk."

Dobrosielski reiterated:

"Think small changes, a few minutes a day, over time, leading to the best results," he suggested. "Some time on a physio-ball is another way to have a positive effect on posture as well."
