Is it really over between Rihanna and Chris Brown? There have been rumors that the two are secretly dating, but it seems that those rumors aren't true. The 25-year old singer finally opens up about his trials, music, and lovers during a recent interview with Hot 97.
When the "Loyal" hitmaker was asked about why he got back with Rihanna, he said they did it because everything's cool with them. Chris Brown also revealed, "I kinda wanted to make amends to her. Show her that I can be the man that she wanted me to be."
The host also mentioned the 26-year old songstress dating Drake back then. Chris Brown said, "For me, I'm content with who I am so whoever decides to move on and do their thing, that's cool." Another host asked the R&B heartthrob if he thinks that Riri dated Drizzy on purpose.
Chris said, "She's gonna be mad if I say it, but in a way, I do." The host butted in and said, "Because she wanted to hurt you a little bit?" The singer admitted, "Yeah, a little bit. It's understandable. It's the game. We're young. Relationships... we do that at that age."
There definitely is still love between Rihanna and Chris Brown based on what the singer said during the interview. However, he also said that things change as people grow older so could that mean he is ready to settle down with girlfriend Karrueche Tran?
The two have been dating for a few years now and she remained very supportive of him despite all the lawsuits that he had to face. Hollywood Life reported Chris Brown telling the radio show, "[Karrueche] She's straight I dig her, I dig her man, She's dope."
He explained, "I feel like especially being in this industry you need someone that understands you and understands who you are personally except for your name. You don't have to be buying them bags, let me stunt on you right quick. Although I do it because I love her, but that don't come with the territory, at the end of the day we have a real connection as best friends on top of our intimacy."
When they asked him if he is ready to settle down, the singer was hesitant to answer. Chris said, "Ya, man, but like I'm scared of marriage man because I'm young right now. That's the only thing that ... so you know ...."
Chris Brown was also asked if he is ready to have kids. He said, "I need a little Chris Brown man, because when I can't dance no more I need to teach them something ....
