Elisabeth Hasselbeck's cancer scare has taken a toll on the Fox TV personality.

ET Online reported Elisabeth Hasselbeck's cancer scare was the major cause of her emotional come back on "Fox and Friends" on Friday.

The TV host candidly revealed that she had to have a tumor removed from her abdomen. Hasselbeck was notified to best have the tumor removed by the latter part of the month as it might be cancerous. Good thing the tumor was not cancerous, and Hasselbeck has been doing fine since then.

She narrated to viewers during her come back what she had to go through while her co-hosts listened in:

"I had a scary week when we didn't know what the results were,"

"But I'm okay. Everything came back okay. Surgery's not fun, but it is necessary to find out if you have something really terrible."

Hasselbeck expressed appreciation for all the support she got from well-wishers:

"I could not be more thankful for my family and my friends who've stuck by me with incredible support,"

"I'm certainly not a person who takes a lot for granted, but I certainly don't take it for granted now."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck's cancer scare was all gone as her kids made a video to welcome back their mother to work. Hasselbeck's "View" co-host, Sherri Shepherd was also around the "Fox and Friends" set to welcome her.
