In the episode of the MBC drama 'Arang and the Magistrate' that aired on the 29th of August, Joo Wal transforms into an assassin and stabs Arang in the chest with a knife.

The reason why Joo Wal killed Arang was revealed. In the past, Joo Wal was given a ring and the name Choi Joo Wal by Eun Oh's mother (played by Kang Moon Young).
