People Magazine recently announced that they chose 'Thor' star Chris Hemsworth as the 'Sexiest Man Alive!' Fans of the Marvel superhero would eagerly agree with this decision but what does the Australian actor really think about this?

Talking to the publication, Hemsworth said their decision to name him the sexiest man alive was actually "pretty funny." He and his wife, Elsa Pataky, even had "a good laugh at that."

The 'Snow White And The Huntsman' star revealed what really went through his mind when People told him the news: "Good. You're a couple years too late. I hit my peak a few years ago. I'm on the decline now, so I'm not sure if I still deserve it, but thank you."

He may think he's on a decline now but he did put the new title to good use at home. In fact, beating out all the other hot men in the world bought him "a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house."

'Thor' star Chris Hemsworth jokingly told People, "I can just say to her [his wife Elsa Pataky], 'Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don't need to do the dishes anymore, I don't need to change nappies. I'm above that. I've made it now.'"

Aside from shirking chores at home, he had another use for his new award.

"I'll put it on the mantelpiece just to remind [Elsa Pataky] in the coming years," the 'Avengers' star joked.

Liam Hemsworth's older brother isn't just the sexiest man alive for his fans, he's also the sexiest father and husband to his family as well. He has three children with his 38-year-old model wife.

He also revealed that the couple took 2-year-old India and 8-month-old twins Sasha and Tristan on a beach outing for "the first time in a long time" and the Hemsworths enjoyed the family time immensely.
