The Daily Mail UK reported that via Radar Online that Nick Carter stopped talking to his parents in the midst of the rumors that his parents are taking advantage of him for his money.

In October, the Backstreet Boy cutis ties with his parents as hinted in his sad tweet:

"Wish my mother would stop sending hurtful and hateful emails to me and my wife. Can't people just be happy for me? Or leave me alone. #hurt'"

An insider for Radar Online revealed the details behind the feud, saying:

"Nick is feeling pressure and heartache from his family when all he wants to be doing is concentrating on enjoying married life"

 The family has always been after him.

They're always wanting something from Nick...money or support, or this and that. It's never like, "We love you. We care about you." It's always been like, "We need this and we need that."'

Nick's mother, Jane, and his wife, Lauren Kitt Carter also don't get along very well, reports suggested.

The insider further revealed:

"They've never gotten along, Lauren just says how it is, the truth and they can't get away with manipulating Nick now anymore.

Lauren is just kind of sad. . 'She loves Nick and wants him to be happy, but when they're attacking him like that, it puts her in a weird, awkward situation too.' 

Reports also alleged that Carter's documented reality show with his wife, "I Heart Nick Carter," will not push through for a second season in VH1. This comes coincidentally as the backstreet boy cuts ties with his parents!

Carter recently tweeted, revealing the bad news:

'So unfortunately @vh1 has decided to not pick up the second season of @HeartNickCarter we loved sharing our love and life with you.'
