More than a week ago, the "Ghostbusters 3" script leaked online and many fans got excited when they read the story. It actually went viral and was featured in several entertainment and movie websites. According to the website, Sony Pictures was about to approve the script even if Bill Murray didn't agree to return in the movie.

The second draft of the script was published by Bloody Disgusting and the character of Murray and the late Harold Ramis' character are still included in the story. You can read the full script here. One of the highlights of the plot features the death of Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), and Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis).

Also mentioned in the "Ghostbusters 3" script that leaked online are the three new recruits that we assumed will be the women that Paul Feig mentioned when he announced that he will direct the film. Everything makes sense that's why many people believed that it was really the script of the third sequel.

However, the viral script was fake and it was written by a filmmaker from Halifax. CBC News reported, Sean Grady, who is also a huge Ghostbusters fan, decided to write a script for fun. He was actually looking for his script to be critiqued that's why he decided to post it online.

He got this idea from a fan who wrote the script for "Batman" a few years ago. He decided to become a ghost writer and gave credentials to the people who wrote the real script. Grady didn't expect his article to become viral and fans started commenting and sharing their thoughts about what he wrote.

A movie website even asked the producers of the new "Ghostbusters" film if the script was actually theirs. Sean Grady said, "I was a little confused when that happened because I'm pretty sure I wasn't paid by Sony Pictures to write one of the drafts."

One of the writers of the movie confirmed that it wasn't their script, but Grady is open into negotiating in case Sony will be interested in using his script. He said, "I'd consider talking." Do you think the producers should acquire the "Ghostbusters 3" script that Grady wrote?
