The Last of Us movie casting features uncertainty over Maisie Williams!

Winter is Coming reported that the Games of Thrones' Maisie Williams may not push through in starring in The Last of Us movie teenage protagonist, Ellie. Reports suggested that Maisie has expressed uncertainty over starring in The Last of Us movie.

Although Williams has expressed her desire to star in the film, she does not feel 100% certain to star in it, reports allegedly indicated.

In an article in the Video Gamer, Williams was quoted as saying:

"So the way it was left is they want me to do it, and I want to do it. But there's no script, no director, and no anything else. So at this moment, it's looking like, 'Yes,' but it's still such early days. If they make it in 30 years, they can't have a 40-year-old Ellie. So at the moment, it's looking good, and I'd love to do it. Hell yeah."

Ellie is a teenage girl character in The Last of Us movie that is exposed to the zombie plague. An older character named Joel protects Ellie from the perils as she journeys in on the mysteries of the unknown.

Maisie Williams looks like the perfect character to play Ellie. However, let's just keep our fingers crossed that Maisie will do a job in sounding like a real American.
