Swift's latest "1989" single beat the songs of the likes of Meghan Trainor, Hozier and Mark Ronson to the top of the charts of the classic Billboard Hot 100.
In an article published in Music Times, it was revealed that 1989's first single, "Shake It Off," also reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks in the past.
Taylor Swift's Blank Space top spot on Billboard Hot 100 contributed its success to the singer's video version for the single. To date, Taylor credited her Blank Space co-star, Sean O' Pry, for doing a good job in the video.
The video for Blank Space is one of the hottest videos to trend and garner thousands of views in You Tube.
Taylor Swift's Blank Space at number one on Billboard Hot 100 comes in coincidence of the singer's 25th birthday celebration. The singer couldn't have asked for more as she enjoyed chart-topping singles and albums, a Billboard Woman of the Year 2014 award, and a birthday milestone in her life.
Taylor is looking forward to2015 with plans of headlining a world tour, expected to sell out arenas all over the United States, and possibly other parts of the world. She'll be serenading more fans out there when she embarks on another batch of sold out tours for 2015.
