Incomplete Life

In "Incomplete Life," Lim Shi Wan didn't know what the Chinese concept of "guanxi" was.  Therefore, he asked Kim Dae Myung and Park Hae Joon about this concept and inquired about the Chinese business proposal.

On the 18th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Incomplete Life" (script Kim Won Suk, script Jung Yoon Jung) broadcast on December 13th, Jang Geu Rae (played by Lim Shi Wan) asked Kim Dong Shik (played by Kim Da Myung) and Chun Kwan Woong (played by Park Hae Joon) about the business culture of Chinese business ideas.

On this episode, Jang Geu Rae was in charge of a project that had deep connections to China.  With this, he wondered what the concept of a "guanxi" was and was curious.

Kim Dong Shik said, "In China, they say that systems don't work and guanxis are the thing that makes the economy work.  That's how important guanxis are to the Chinese.  They value personal connections more than the law when they're doing business.  With this, Kim Dong Shik provided an explanation about the concept of "guanxi" in China.

Chun Kwan Woong said, "You can't see this as a simple bribery.  It's more important to create an emotional connection with them."
