Jang Geun Suk’s Rep Denies “He Will Not Be Appearing in the drama ‘Gangnam Style’”

According to Jang Geun Suk's rep, the news report saying that he will appear in drama 'Gangnam Style' is false.

A rep from Jang Geun Suk's management agency TreeJ Company stated, "The report about him appearing in 'Gangnam Style' is not true. He has not even looked over the script and has no plans to star in the drama."

According to the rep, Jang Geun Suk will focus on his concerts in Japan until early next year. Before this, a media outlet reported that Jang Geun Suk was cast as the main character for 'Gangnam Style'. The drama plans to air next February and is currently in the preparation stages of production. It will be based on the webtoon 'Fashion King'.

The name was changed to 'Gangnam Style' after SBS 'Fashion King' aired earlier this year in March with the same name.
