Oprah Winfrey had a very memorable year-ender. The talk show host spent the New Year's Eve with her BFF Gayle King in a very 'unglamorous' location according to a report by E! Online.

Daily Mail conveyed that Oprah and Gayle spent the New Year's Eve in a hospital since the latter needed the help of a medical team at Kula Hospital in Maui to treat her sprained ankle.

The 60-year-old journalist shared the very memorable welcome to 2015 in Instagram. Her snapshot shows herself alongside two ladies and a doctor in a hospital room.

"New Year's Eve at Kula Hospital," she wrote.

Reportedly, Gayle also expressed her appreciation to those people who took care of her during the treatment.

"Thank you nurse Cindy nurse Leslie favorite son will and.. diagnosis very bad sprain ankle that I twisted and fell heading to gym! No hike no treadmill anytime soon thanx dr Dave Nelson! He got jokes!" Gayle captioned a photo collage showing the people she's thankful for. The night didn't end dramatically, instead the ladies continued the party later in the evening. According to Daily Mail, friends and family gathered and wore festive clothes to celebrate the New Year at Oprah's Hawaii pad with glow sticks and lighted hats.
