Oprah Winfrey’s Fabulous Hawaiian Get Away Smeared, Talk Show Host Spent New Year’s Eve In The Hospital
Oprah Winfrey together with BFF Gayle King planned a fabulous Hawaiian get away for New Year. However, E! Online reported that it has been smeared since the talk show host got to spend the New Year's Eve in the hospital.
According to Daily Mail, Oprah and Gayle went to the hospital evening before of the New Year. The 60-year-old journalist needed medical help at the Kula Hospital in Maui to treat her sprained ankle.
Gayle documented and shared this very memorable welcome to 2015 via Instagram. She posted a snapshot of herself alongside two ladies and a doctor in a hospital room.
"New Year's Eve at Kula Hospital," Gayle wrote.
In another post, Gayle expressed her appreciation to those people who took care of her during the treatment. She captioned a photo collage displaying the people she's thankful for.
"Thank you nurse Cindy nurse Leslie favorite son will and.. diagnosis very bad sprain ankle that I twisted and fell heading to gym! No hike no treadmill anytime soon thanx dr Dave Nelson! He got jokes!" Gayle wrote.
Gayle's sprain did not stop the party, instead the ladies continued the merrymaking later in the evening. According to Daily Mail, friends and family gathered and wore festive clothes to celebrate the New Year at Oprah's Hawaii pad with glow sticks and lighted hats.
Oprah's BFF shared several photos of the gathering in her photo-posting social media account. It included Oprah's extravagant varieties of desserts by her 5-star pastry chef Monti Frederic.
"New Year's Eve desert @oprah's 5 star pastry chef@montifrederic created the GOLDEN GLOBE! A caramel mousse chocolate sugary piece of deliciousness! Thinkin' @goldenglobes should have chef monti handle desert on the big nite," Gayle captioned one of the photographs.
"Chef Frederic monti working more magic in the kitchen@oprah 's Hawaii ranch last nite and yep this is all edible!" Gayle wrote of the photo showing Chef Monti Frederic holding a plate of desserts with a clear swan like arrangement.
