Social media platforms are now outpouring with grief as One Direction fan Caroline Richards passed away. After fans learned this report, they paid tribute to their fellow One Directioners.
When she was still alive, her dream of meeting One Direction came true five months ago, according to Mirror UK. She described that night as "the best night of her life." She shared a picture of her and Nial Horan on Instagram. She also shared a picture of her and Harry Styles.
Caroline's father Mark praised his daughter's strength and courage after she underwent three surgeries and numerous rounds of chemotherapy in nine months, "She's stronger than me at times. She's battled through a lot, she's gone through a journey that I don't think most people could."
