Brittany Maynard's final hours are still clear in husband's Dan Diaz's mind. People reported that Dan Diaz revealed that during his wife, Brittany Maynard's final hours, a seizure awakened her.

Diaz exclusively revealed to People that during Brittany Maynard's final hours:

"We got up rather early and she was feeling a little weird," 

 "After a seizure she'd be unable to speak for a while and when she did, it was just gibberish,"

"So when we got up there was a little bit of that. I said, 'Let's just sleep in.' " 

Brittany was seriously ill with brain cancer. To make her suffering in her death less severe, she opted to make her death voluntary on November 1st. She used a doctor prescribed medication to end her life, under the legally recognized Oregon Death With Dignity Act law.

Before her passing, Brittany campaigned for the 'right to die with dignity' privilege in the United States. Diaz further revealed that during his wife's final hours:

"She wanted to go and take a hike so we all went and hiked,"

 "There were eight of us total and the dogs. We went on a trail that she liked and it was a good morning. Then we got back to the house." 

Time came that Brittany, "knew it was time," added Diaz.

On a final note, Diaz revealed:

"She was surrounded by the people who loved her and her passing was peaceful."
