Orange Is The New Black Season 3 Cast

"Orange is the New Black" season 3 will shift spotlight on Poussey, and a new cast member gets a warm welcome from fellow "inmates."

Details on how "Orange is the New Black" season 3 will play out are continuously teased; there's news the next run will focus on Poussey, played by Samira Wiley. The last season wrapped up with her at odds with everyone because of a spat with Vee (played by Lourraine Tousaint) on the way things are run.

The Breathcast report mentioned a more involved story arc for Poussey, though not as much as Tastee's (played by Danielle Moore); both characters' stories are integrated ever since the first season; it's yet to be confirmed how she will fare, though, even with Poussey now deeply involved.

Will Poussey move on from her confined relationship with Tastee and into a more prominent role amongst the inmates? Poussey may be over her indeed, with Tastee's repeated rejection of her affection.

Black Cindy (played by Adrienne C. Moore) will also enjoy prominent focus in "Orange is the New Black" season 3. With part of her back story explored in season 2, the next run may reveal why she's in prison, as well as further insight into her relationship with her family.

In related news, new cast member Ruby Rose will likely enjoy her stay as an "Orange is the New Black" inmate. Her character Stella Carlin will be the object of affection for Alex Vause and Piper Chapman, played by Laura Prepon and Taylor Schilling.

Ruby Rose updated fans on production through her Instagram account, with photos showing run-ins with a few fellow actors (or inmates). The posts show makes her inclusion in the cast official, with a room to her name, and selfie photos of Morello (Yael Stone) and with Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba).

"Orange is the New Black" season 3 still has to be confirmed a release date, but will return sometime this summer on Netflix.
