Super Junior's Kim Heechul Stars In The Nighttime Talk Show 'Wednesday Dining'

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul stars as one of the celebrity guests in the culinary talk show, “Wednesday Dining.” “Wednesday Dining” highlights top Korean restaurants while providing a platform for the unique aspects of Korean cuisine.

Other celebrity co-hosts on the show include Urban Zakapa’s Park Yong In and actor Kim Yu Seok. They are joined by Kang Yong Seok, who is an acclaimed lawyer and food stylist Hong Shin Ae.

Heechul has completed several projects since completing his mandatory military enlistment which concluded in August 2013. In 2014, Heechul starred opposite Dream Girl’s Puff Gao in the second season of “Global Edition: We Got Married.” He then joined the cast of the tvN fantasy comedy, “Flower Grandpa Investigation Unit” (Grandpas Over Flowers Investigation Team).

His return to promotional activities was punctuated by the success of the Super Junior’s eighth studio album, “Mamacita,” which was released in August 2014.

The cable network tvN has developed programming that focuses on the culinary arts including the drama "Let's Eat." "Let's Eat" recently announced its second season, with Beast's Doojoon starring as Gu Dae Young, an insurance salesman turned food blogger. "Let's Eat" featured sophisticated food photography including close-up shots of the actors eating which helped to fuel the show's popularity. 

“Wednesday Dining” premiered on January 21 on tvN. The focus of the first episode was Korean barbeque.

“Wednesday Dining” will air on tvN on Wednesdays at 11 p.m. Korean Standard Time.
