Nikki Reed, Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder News: ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Co-Stars Reportedly Getting Too Close For Comfort? Instagram Post Suspected A Potshot At Newly-Engaged Couple

It's not over till it's over: does the latest Nikki Reed, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder news involve a catfight? Nina is reportedly getting too close to ex Ian, too close for Nikki's comfort.

It appears Nina's rekindled friendship with Ian Somerhalder; are the "The Vampire Diaries" stars patching their relationship turned sour, even with Ian engaged to Nikki?

Nina recently took the gloves off with a loaded Instagram post, which many suspect is a potshot at Nikki and her relationship prior to Ian. Nina quoted F. Scott Fitzgerald, on waiting for the right guy:

"Why don't you tell me that 'if the girl had been worth having, she'd have waited for you?' No sir, the girl really worth having won't wait for anybody.'"

Ian proposed marriage to Nikki Jan. 25, making the engagement official. Reports say Nikki now visits "The Vampire Diaries" set as often as she can, with rumors of the actor and her ex-girlfriend getting close.

A source for Hollywood Life says that on the contrary, Nikki has no bad blood with Nina, and that she'd like to go out for dinner some time. The date is still pending, though.

"Nikki has said that she wants to invite Nina over for dinner, but it hasn't happened yet."

It's suspected Nina's Instagram post referred to Nikki's "sudden" relationship with Ian, after her split with Paul McDonald. It's all good as long as Nikki is concerned, though, according to the source.

"[Nikki] has no bad blood for Nina. She would love if they could all be friends again. She and Nina used to be so close and Nikki has told lots of people that she would love to get back to that place with her."

Tension in Nikki Reed, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder news have been percolating since the couple got together, with the couple reportedly keeping in touch and their previous on-off romance.
